Contract: 14 weeks
**Schedule**
Shift: Days
Days: 3 days per week, 12 hours per day, and 36 hours per week
Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend is required. Holiday required.
Position Overview:
with patient care.
-Plans, implements, and documents nursing care based on the patient’s needs.
-Identifies patient needs and determines priorities for care through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
-Develops, implements, and coordinates individualized plan of care for patients assigned through initial and ongoing assessments.
-Initiates assessment based on the patient’s problems or needs, the physician’s medical diagnosis, and the functional health framework.
-Performs therapeutic nursing interventions.
-Manages care of patients.
-Documents care based on standards of care and practice, patient acuity, and/or clinical priorities.
-Advocates for evidence-based practice care standards and supports the adoption of evidence-based practices and innovations in care delivery.
-Provides patient-centricional nursing practice model.
-Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
**Qualifications: **
Skills:
Required Skills & Experience:
-Minimum of 2 years prior RN experience working in an MS/Tele unit in a major acute care hospital setting required.
-Must have a strong MS/Tele background.
Education:
Required Education:
-ASN.
Preferred Education:
-BSN.
Required Certifications & Licensure:
-NIHSS.
-Telemetry.
-BLS-AHA.
-CEU Contact Stroke 4 Hours.
-NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license.
