About the Opportunity:

Client is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team on a 13-week travel assignment starting July 22nd, 2024. This is a day shift position (7:00 am - 7:00 pm) working 36 hours per week.

Unit: Medical-4 (Medical-Logan)

Specialties:

• Medical-Surgical (Med Surg)
• Telemetry

Description:

• As a member of our interdisciplinary team, you will utilize your nursing expertise to provide comprehensive care to a diverse patient population.
• Our 24-bed unit offers a wide range of patient diagnoses, including neurology, stroke, oncology, and hospice.
• We foster a supportive learning environment where you can expand your knowledge and skills.
• Epic electronic medical record (EMR) system used.

Qualifications:

• Active RN license in the state of Iowa.
• Minimum of 2 years recent experience in Med Surg/Telemetry nursing.
• Experience caring for patients with a variety of diagnoses, including neurology, stroke, TIA, oncology, and hospice (hospice experience a plus).
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and clinical decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and work independently as part of a team.
• BLS certification (AHA or ARC) required.
