Sandblaster
Operate sandblasting equipment safely and effectively to remove paint, rust, scale, and other contaminants from various surfaces. Set up and maintain sandblasting equipment, including loading abrasive material, cleaning nozzles, and performing basic repairs. Prepare work surfaces by masking and protecting surrounding areas to prevent damage. Ensure proper ventilation and wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times. Maintain a clean and organized work area. May assist with other shop duties as required, such as loading/unloading materials or assisting with painting/coating projects.

Operate sandblasting equipment to remove paint, rust, dirt, and other contaminants from various surfaces.Set up and maintain sandblasting equipment, ensuring proper functioning and material flow.Prepare work surfaces by masking off areas that need to be protected during blasting.Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all company safety regulations.Inspect blasted surfaces to ensure they meet quality standards.May assist with loading and unloading blasting media.May perform additional tasks as assigned, such as cleaning equipment or assisting with other surface preparation activities.
Sandblaster Qualifications:
Strong understanding of safe sandblasting practices. Ability to lift and maneuver heavy objects. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality. Good communication and teamwork skills.
