Job Description
Schedule: Part-time, benefit eligible, 20 hours per week, 3rd shift Serves as Dupont Hospital's front line for facility-wide security of occupants and materials.Use of camera and door access systems, PBX operations, understanding and announcing fire alarms and drills.Parking control and patrol as needed.Responsive to radio communications on a routine basis.This position participates in all facility responses related to emergencies and in regard to safety and security of guests, visitors, and team members.
Minimal Acceptable Job Qualifications Licensure: - BCLS within 60 days of hire
- SAMA Level 1 within 30 days of hire
- Current Driver's License
- FEMA NIMS modules ICS-100 and ICS-200 within 60 days of hire.
Experience: Basic skills in word processing.
Education: High School diploma or its equivalent.
Other: Ability to manage multiple tasks / projects simultaneously.
Ability to make independent decisions that do not adversely affect others and interact
with professionals and the public.
Must maintain all annual requirement and competencies. Is responsible to stay
Informed of department communications and processes.
Utilizes security systems such as CCTV, and access control to monitor the hospital
grounds.Responsible for PBX operations.
Responsible to announce via overhead paging all codes and pages as required.
