Senior Accountant (Construction Industry Focus)

Location: Peachtree Corners, GA (Hybrid)

An established construction-focused organization is seeking a skilled Senior Accountant to take ownership of key accounting functions, including financial reporting, job costing, and process improvements. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced setting and has a sharp eye for detail.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead financial reporting and analysis related to construction projects
• Manage job costing, reconciliations, and project budget processes
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and applicable industry standards
• Collaborate with project managers to enhance financial workflows and reporting accuracy

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (required)
• CPA certification (preferred)
• Minimum 5 years of accounting experience; experience within the construction industry is highly desirable
• Strong understanding of GAAP and job cost accounting methodologies
• Proficient in ERP accounting systems and advanced Excel skills
• Detail-oriented, analytical, and proactive in identifying process improvements
