Job Description

Epic Application Analyst | Fort Worth, TX

Powered by CornerStone Technology Talent Services (TTS)

We are seeking a highly driven Epic Application Analyst to join a digital transformation team supporting pediatric-focused clinical care. This is a full-time, on-site role in Fort Worth, TX, where you will be working at the intersection of technology, clinical outcomes, and patient-centered innovation.

At CornerStone TTS, we’re not just filling roles—we are connecting top-tier tech talent to impactful work. We align professionals with mission-critical healthcare technology initiatives where they can drive measurable change and growth. Our clients value precision, compassion, and digital excellence—and we deliver.

Role Overview: As an Epic Application Analyst, you will lead and support full lifecycle application activities—from planning and build to optimization and end-user support—within a collaborative, cross-functional team. You’ll champion system performance and user experience through problem-solving, process improvement, and continuous development of clinical technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Independently plan, build, configure, test, deploy, and optimize Epic applications (especially Ambulatory modules).
  • Serve as liaison between IS teams, end users, clinicians, and vendors to ensure system performance and solution alignment.
  • Analyze existing workflows and data flows; propose enhancements that reduce risk and improve operational efficiency.
  • Monitor effectiveness of applications and support user requests to modify or enhance systems.
  • Develop and maintain standard architectures and contribute to documentation, reporting, and user education.
  • Ensure quality control, risk mitigation, and user training in all application enhancement initiatives.
  • Stay up to date on vendor developments and best practices across the Epic ecosystem.

What You Bring:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in clinical IT within hospital or healthcare environments.
  • Strong working knowledge of Epic software (Ambulatory experience preferred).
  • Proven ability to translate clinical workflows into optimized technical solutions.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Informatics, Health IT, Clinical Systems, or a related field. Equivalent experience considered.
  • Epic certification (or ability to obtain within 6 months; two retakes permitted).
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Ideal Candidates:

  • Thrive in complex environments where clinical impact meets technical rigor.
  • Demonstrate initiative, critical thinking, and structured problem solving.
  • Prioritize user needs, patient safety, and data integrity in every solution.
