About the Role:

Our client is a leading provider of mechanical maintenance services, specializing in rotating equipment, particularly within paper mills, and they are seeking a Senior Design Engineer to join their team.

As a Senior Design Engineer, you will oversee and approve project deliverables while working individually or as part of a team. This role involves scheduling and delegating tasks to engineers and subcontractors to ensure project completion. You will collaborate across mechanical, structural, civil, and electrical disciplines to identify client needs, offering practical solutions based on field observations and communication. Key Responsibilities:

• Drawing generation, review and approval for IFC deliverables.
• Provide design oversight and approval of project deliverables.
• Manage project schedules and delegate tasks effectively.
• Work on structural design applications, ensuring feasibility for construction and fabrication.
• Collaborate with clients to understand requirements and develop tailored solutions.

The Person:

• Design experience required in structural applications.
• PE Required
• Proficient with CAD and FEA (Preferably Solidworks OR Autocad)
• Experience in construction feasibility and fabrication methods is a plus
• Candidate must have good computer skills and be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, etc.
