Senior Project Manager - Mechanical Contracting 115k - 130k

Base Salary: $115,000- $130,000 + BONUS

Job Overview

A leading mechanical contracting firm is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to oversee high-profile Mechanical HVAC projects. The role involves ensuring project profitability, timely execution, and effective communication with stakeholders while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

Responsibilities

• Drive project profitability by managing timelines, billing, change orders, and collections.
• Provide monthly analysis through job cost, status, manpower, and change order reports.
• Collaborate with project superintendents, construction managers, general contractors, and internal teams via meetings, memos, and emails.
• Coordinate manpower and equipment allocation for projects.
• Oversee project buyouts, closeouts, and change orders.
• Conduct weekly job-site visits and attend project meetings.
• Ensure accurate job setup, contract reviews, cost estimates, and schedules of values.
• Track submittals, generate purchase orders, and negotiate subcontracts and purchases.
• Prepare project manager reports and participate in management meetings.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications :

• Minimum 8+ years of managing commercial mechanical projects
• 5+ years of direct project management responsibilities on commercial projects

Skills :

• Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints.
• Knowledge of general plumbing and piping installation.
• Strong mathematical and organizational skills.
• General accounting knowledge.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Detail-oriented with excellent verbal and written communication
• Education :
• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field preferred.
• Journeyman Plumber license or equivalent experience..

Special Requirements :

• Valid Driver’s License.
• OSHA 10 certification
