Job Description

We are partnered with a vertically integrated commercial real estate and management company recognized as a leading owner, operator, and developer of commercial properties.

The Senior Property Manager will oversee a 1 million plus square foot, multi-building property, driving operational excellence and tenant satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Tenant Relations

  • Deliver exceptional service to tenants and partners.
  • Manage rent collection and the move-in/move-out process.
  • Maintain strong tenant relationships through regular engagement.
  • Handle lease administration and assist with renewals, expansions, and contractions.

Property Operations & Maintenance

  • Inspect building systems and grounds to ensure standards are met.
  • Coordinate vendor services and emergency response procedures.
  • Partner with the Chief Engineer on preventive maintenance and safety programs.
  • Monitor and review maintenance schedules.

Financial Management

  • Prepare and manage annual operating budgets and capital planning.
  • Oversee purchasing and ensure compliance with budget guidelines.
  • Deliver monthly financial reports with variance analysis.
  • Manage receivables, tenant defaults, and capital project execution.

Tenant Improvements

  • Oversee tenant improvement and renovation projects.
  • Review plans, provide updates, and ensure projects stay on schedule and budget.
  • Coordinate meetings, track costs, and manage project close-out.

Leadership

  • Hire, train, and develop property staff.
  • Set goals, monitor performance, and conduct reviews.
  • Coach team members and delegate responsibilities effectively.

Qualifications

  • Proven commitment to customer service with strong tenant relations skills.
  • Self-starter with excellent time management and organizational ability.
  • Project management and construction knowledge (AIA contracts, RFIs, change orders, etc.).
  • Strong analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • CPM, CFM, or RPA designation and real estate license preferred.
  • 5–10 years of property management experience with success in Class A office properties.
