Responsibilities

As a Senior Software Engineer for the Microsoft Alumni Network, you will be at the forefront of designing and implementing functionality that enables our IT platform operations. Your primary responsibilities will include:

Design and Develop Applications: 

• Create custom applications using Dynamics365
• Implement Dynamics 365/ Power Platform integration with external services such as authorize.net and Stripe through public APIs
• Automate business processes and workflows using Microsoft Power Automate. 
• Define end to end payment gateway scenarios based on APIs from Authorize.net and/or Stripe
• Develop data visualization and reporting solutions using Power BI. 
• Utilize Microsoft Dataverse as the underlying data platform for Power Apps. 

Job Qualifications:

• 10+ years industry experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform tools (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI).
• 5+ Years of experience with Dynamics 365, understanding Dynamics 365 entities, forms, workflows, dashboards and reports ( Dataverse)
• Strong experience with payment gateway systems ( Authorize.net, Stripe) and credit card transaction scenario functionality
• Strong experience with Javascript
• Strong understanding of relational databases and data modeling.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Complete technical design deliverables and documentation.
• Follow change control procedures and oversee the deployment from development to test to production.

Nice to haves:  

• Familiarity with Dynamics 365 specific offerings such as Customer Service, Field Service, Sales or Marketing. 
• MS Certifications in Dynamics 365 and Power Platform apps
• Experience with supporting projects in Software Engineering or IT

Job Details:

• Part time, 20 hours per week
• Location: Hybrid (Redmond and WFH)
