Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior Workforce Analytics professional with strong technical skills to help build the next generation of QXO’s people analytics capability. This is a hands-on role, working directly with our data warehouse, BI tools, and coding environments to design and deliver dashboards, standardized reporting, and predictive analytics.

You will be responsible for building automated pipelines, visualizations, and advanced analytics models, partnering closely with HR, Finance, TA, and IT to ensure our data is clean, integrated, and actionable. This role is ideal for someone comfortable operating in a startup-like environment, building from the ground up, working in the grey, and helping shape structure where it doesn’t yet exist.

Key Responsibilities

Data Engineering & Integration

  • Ingest, transform, and prepare data from multiple HR systems (UKG, Oracle, ADP, SuccessFactors, iCIMS, Cornerstone) and Salesforce into the enterprise data warehouse.
  • Write efficient SQL queries to clean, join, and aggregate workforce datasets.
  • Partner with HRIS/IT to improve front-end data capture processes (e.g., standardizing prior employer, termination reasons, job change fields).
  • Operate effectively in a fast-evolving environment, balancing structure with flexibility, and helping build processes, standards, and tools where they don’t yet exist.

Analytics & Dashboard Development

  • Design, build, and maintain dashboards in BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, or future-state solutions such as Visier or internal build).
  • Automate recurring reporting processes and create self-service data products for HRLT and business leaders.
  • Translate metrics into leader-friendly visuals and narratives that connect people outcomes to business and financial impact.

Advanced Analytics & Modeling

  • Build and operationalize predictive models (turnover risk, cost of attrition, hiring funnel efficiency, pay equity).
  • Use Python/R to perform statistical modeling and exploratory data analysis.
  • Apply NLP techniques to unstructured data (survey comments, case management tickets, exit interview text) to extract insights.

Governance & Culture

  • Contribute to the data dictionary and enforce consistent metric definitions.
  • Ensure secure, governed access (RBAC/ABAC) to sensitive HR data.
  • Train HRBPs and managers on how to use dashboards, interpret metrics, and apply insights in decision-making.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree, in Data Analytics, Computer Science, HR, Business, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 5+ years in Workforce/People Analytics or Business Analytics with strong technical focus.
  • Comfortable working in ambiguous environments and building from the ground up, thrives in a startup-style culture of experimentation and iteration.
  • Expertise in SQL (BigQuery, Snowflake, or similar).
  • Proficiency with Python or R for data transformation and modeling.
  • Experience building dashboards in Tableau, Power BI, or equivalent BI tools.
  • Familiarity with HRIS and ATS data (UKG, SuccessFactors, Oracle, ADP, iCIMS).
  • Understanding of data governance, security, and workforce metric definitions.
  • Excellent communication skills, able to explain complex analyses to executives.

Success in This Role Looks Like

  • Leaders access clean, standardized dashboards tied to business KPIs and financials.
  • Data pipelines are automated and reliable, reducing manual reporting effort.
  • Turnover cost models and predictive analytics inform real workforce decisions.
  • HRBPs and managers are trained and confident in using self-service data tools.
  • QXO has stronger data governance, cleaner inputs, and a culture of using data for decision-making.

QXO is an equal opportunity employer. We celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees.
