** REQUIRED: This client is specifically looking for candidates with 4+ years of U.S. military experience **

Korn Ferry Military Division has partnered with our client on their search for a Lead Building Engineer for their location in the Central Business District in the heart of Dallas TX.

Must have 5+ years experience in maintenance and repair of a large Office Building or Hospital (not apartment complex.) Needs strong Electrical skills, experience with Boilers/Chillers as well.

HVAC technical training and EPA refrigeration licenses are highly preferred and will give you a huge advantage over other candidates!

Compensation: $79,000-85,000 base ($38.00-41.00/hr + OT available)

Shift: Day Shift (Monday-Friday, 7am-4pm)

What You Will Do : Perform general preventative maintenance and corrective repair of buildings, systems, equipment and grounds. Assist in monitoring building system operations and performance. May utilize skills in plumbing, electrical, painting, roofing, heating and cooling.

Will be responsible for understanding all applicable client goals and objectives as well as management agreement requirements - ensuring the team delivers on those requirements.

  • Perform all necessary mechanical maintenance and operational procedures to ensure maximum life and reliability to all mechanical systems.
  • Responsible for general maintenance and operational duties which include performance testing, maintenance, adjustment and care of the following:
  • HVAC equipment including: Chillers, Boilers, Pumps
  • HVAC control systems: Knowledge of DDC (direct digital controls)
  • Plumbing systems including Commercial
  • Electrical systems: Resetting breakers, testing circuits, troubleshooting issues
  • Lighting systems and lighting retrofits
  • General building systems
  • Knowledge of CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Software)
  • Knowledge of sprinkler systems, fire panels, and fire pumps.
  • Enter equipment information in the property's maintenance record system.

Education and Work Experience:

  • 4+ years US Military experience required
  • 5+ years of experience in building maintenance and repair required (large office building, hospital, etc)
  • Knowledge of Building Automation Systems (BAS), preventative maintenance; ability to troubleshoot and repair a variety of building systems.
  • Needs strong Electrical; they have Boilers/Chillers as well for the building.
  • HVAC technical training and EPA refrigeration licenses highly preferred.
