CES/AWS is looking for a Shipping Manager in Medley, FL

Location: Medley, FL

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM

Pay : $22-$26 per hour

We are currently seeking an experienced Shipping Manager to lead outbound logistics operations at our client's dynamic and growing facility. About the Role:

As Shipping Manager, you will oversee all aspects of outbound shipping, ensuring products are accurately packaged, labeled, and shipped on time. You'll supervise a dedicated team and collaborate with cross-functional departments to maintain operational excellence and meet customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily shipping operations including fulfillment, packing, labeling, and scheduling carrier pickups.
• Supervise and train shipping and warehouse staff.
• Coordinate with customer service, production, and inventory teams to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
• Monitor and evaluate carrier performance and negotiate shipping rates when needed.
• Ensure compliance with DOT, OSHA, and international shipping regulations.
• Maintain accurate documentation (BOLs, invoices, tracking).
• Improve shipping procedures to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and cost control.
• Collaborate with inventory on outgoing goods and returns.
• Utilize ERP/shipping software to manage logistics and tracking.
• Maintain stock of shipping materials and supplies without overstocking.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in shipping/logistics or warehouse operations, including at least 1 year in a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of domestic and international shipping processes (FedEx, UPS, LTL, freight, etc.).
• Proficiency with ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP, or similar) and shipping software.
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a warehouse environment.
• Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to accuracy and customer satisfaction.
• Experience with broadband or telecom-related products is a plus.
