Job Description

Indirect Sourcing Analyst

Optomi, in partnership with a leading food retail group, is seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Sourcing Analyst to support their Indirect Sourcing team. This role plays a key part in analyzing vendor spend data, tracking contract compliance, and supporting procurement initiatives using advanced Excel techniques and Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) systems such as Coupa, Icertis, Ariba, or Agiloft.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Extract and manipulate large datasets (10,000+ lines) using advanced Excel functions (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, filters) to support strategic sourcing decisions.
  • Track spend data to ensure vendor compliance and identify overages beyond contract terms.
  • Integrate data from disparate systems and normalize for reporting and analysis.
  • Utilize CLM tools (e.g., Coupa, Icertis, Ariba, Agiloft) to track contracts, trigger renewals, and set up approval workflows.
  • Assist with the sourcing lifecycle, including RFx processes, negotiations, and vendor performance monitoring.
  • Collaborate with category managers, procurement leads, and legal teams to ensure contract accuracy and completeness.
  • Help build dashboards and reports (Power BI preferred) to visualize spend, savings, and contract status.
  • Prepare and present findings to internal stakeholders and leadership.
  • Support compliance with internal sourcing policies and regulatory standards.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 3+ years of experience in sourcing, procurement, or supply chain analytics.
  • Expert-level skills in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, nested formulas, large dataset handling).
  • Hands-on experience with CLM platforms such as Coupa, Icertis, Ariba, or Agiloft.
  • Strong ability to clean, manipulate, and interpret large volumes of data across systems.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with stakeholders from legal, finance, and operations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask, meet tight deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities.
