Job Summary:

Meritus Health is seeking dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to join our team in both Home Health and Pediatric outpatient settings. In this role, you will provide comprehensive, evidence-based speech therapy services across a broad patient population—ranging from newborns to geriatrics. You’ll work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team to assess, treat, and support patients in achieving their communication and swallowing goals.

Schedule:

• Home Health : Monday – Friday, 8:00AM – 4:30PM
• Pediatrics : Flexible shifts between 7:00AM – 6:00PM (Mon–Thurs), 7:00AM – 12:00PM (Fri)

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders
• Develop individualized care plans based on patient needs and evidence-based practices
• Coordinate care with other therapists, nurses, physicians, and family members
• Supervise students, as appropriate, per departmental and national standards
• Maintain documentation and adhere to ethical standards of care

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree from an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program
• Maryland SLP license (or temporary license while awaiting board exam/reciprocity)
• Current BLS (CPR) certification
• Strong clinical reasoning, communication, and interpersonal skills
• New grads welcome—must be able to perform job functions after a 3-month onboarding period

Compensation & Benefits:

• Salary Range: $82,201.60 – $123,302.40
