One of the leading Fire Life Safety service providers is growing! This company has an outstanding reputation and has been servicing PGH and Western PA for the over 50 years. They are looking for their next Sprinkler Designer to come and join their team. If you have experience drafting and designing Sprinkler and Suppression Systems using CAD and BIM software - this is something you should check out.

Role: Sprinkler Designer

Location: PGH - office and project sites

Salary: $85K+ based on experience

Responsibilities:

• Design sprinkler systems (HydraCAD experience a plus)
• Interpret construction documents and apply NFPA standards
• Coordinate sprinkler system piping with building components
• Perform hydraulic piping calculations and job site field checks
• Manage project: order materials, submit drawings and product data
• Compile operations and maintenance manual upon project completion

Experience required:

• 2 - 5 years of experience preferred
• NICET 2 certification for sprinkler systems design preferred
• 3-D design knowledge preferred
• Working knowledge of NFPA
