Job Opening Summary

Serves as lead graphics designer and completes various projects as assigned for the UF Health Central Florida Marketing Department as requested to effectively advance the mission of the organization. Provides creative direction and technical assistance for collateral and campaigns that support external and internal audiences, including the programs the organization serves. Responsible for concept, design and layout of all collateral and publications, to include newsletters, brochures, forms, logos, stationary, invitations, flyers, presentations and ads. Collaborates with advertising agency of record for the successful execution of external campaigns. Manages and executes use of corporate logos and branding procedures to ensure all corporate collateral complies with graphics standards of the organization's brand.

Job Opening Qualifications

• Associate's degree required; bachelor's degree preferred.

• Must be able to read, write in, speak and understand English.
• Technical proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, etc.).
• Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and other graphic design programs.
• Experience: 5-plus years of relevant experience required. Health care experience preferred.
• Other: Ability to handle multiple projects. Ability to prioritize and be an independent thinker.
• Must be detail-oriented.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Portfolio that demonstrates graphic design expertise in concept development, typography, layout, color, etc.
