At Senpi, you won’t just be joining another startup — you’ll be helping reinvent the wallet itself into the intelligent agent of onchain finance.

We’re looking for a Staff Backend Engineer to design and scale the systems powering Senpi’s AI-driven trading automations, copy-trading groups, referral rewards, and intelligent onchain infrastructure.

What You’ll Bring

• 7+ years of hands-on experience building and scaling production-level backend systems.
• Proven experience in a startup environment , driving projects from idea to production under high ambiguity and fast iteration cycles.
• Mastery of distributed systems, cloud architecture, and high-performance services .
• Ability to independently own end-to-end projects — from requirements gathering to design, implementation, testing, and deployment.
• Deep experience with blockchain development : onchain APIs, transaction processing, and scaling decentralized systems.
• Familiarity with crypto wallets, trading systems, and DeFi protocols is a strong plus.
• Proven work with AI/ML pipelines , including retrieval-augmented generation (RAGs), embeddings, and prompt engineering for LLM-powered services.
• Ability to integrate AI inference and intelligence layers into production-grade products.
• A true 0→1 builder’s mindset , capable of creating systems and processes from scratch in a high-ambiguity environment.
• Deep knowledge of modern development practices (CI/CD, observability, containerization, etc.) and a passion for applying them to the fast-evolving crypto landscape.
• Experience in monitoring, troubleshooting, and resolving critical incidents. Comfortable with taking on-call responsibilities, leading incident response, implementing root cause analysis, and driving long-term stability improvements.
• Curiosity and passion for AI, crypto, and trading, with an eagerness to shape the future of autonomous onchain agents and AI-powered wallets.
