Job Description
Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Superintendent to oversee and manage commercial construction projects, including tenant improvements and remodels. The ideal candidate will ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality. This role requires strong leadership skills and the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, and project teams.
Key Responsibilities - Manage and supervise all phases of construction projects from pre-construction through completion.
- Coordinate and schedule subcontractors and tradespeople to ensure timely progress of the project.
- Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards throughout the construction process.
- Communicate effectively with clients, architects, and engineers regarding project status and any issues that arise.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and address any safety concerns or delays.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, including schedules, budgets, and reports.
Qualifications - Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Superintendent role within the commercial construction industry.
- Proven experience managing tenant improvement and remodel projects, preferably for office spaces and banks.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, structural retrofit, and safety regulations.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills to manage teams and communicate with stakeholders effectively.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, architectural plans, and specifications.
