Supply Planner

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the creation of a Master Resource Plan based on current demand forecasts, ensuring sufficient raw materials and components are available to support a rolling 24-month supply horizon.
• Support the development of capacity plans to identify constraints, mitigate bottlenecks, and improve cost efficiency through better resource utilization.
• Ensure timely planning for product phase-ins and phase-outs, communicating status updates across supply and business functions.
• Collaborate with the Supply Planning Manager to set appropriate inventory targets (e.g., safety stock) based on demand variability and lead times.
• Track and ensure the execution of supply plans by coordinating with production scheduling and procurement teams, addressing performance deviations, and managing backorder risks.
• Provide confirmation to the demand planning team on supply capabilities during daily/weekly execution and monthly executive reviews.
• Maintain core supply planning master data to enable accurate forecasting and execution.
• Analyze root causes of planning issues and recommend corrective actions to the Supply Planning Manager.
• Monitor and report on KPIs including Supply Plan Attainment, Safety Stock Health, Capacity Utilization, Back Orders, Product Availability, and Lead Time.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Additional certifications (e.g., APICS CPIM or CSCP) are a plus.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in supply, production, or demand planning.
• Entry-level candidates with strong academic backgrounds will be considered.
• Experience using ERP systems (SAP or equivalent) is required.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential.
