Job Description

Our Lakeland, Florida office is seeking a Survey Project Manager (SIT) to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for contributing to planning and production of various types of land survey drawings and map substitutes from inception to completion under the supervision of a licensed PSM.

What You Will Do:

• Estimate and Schedule Coordination: Assist in preparing accurate project estimates and schedules to ensure smooth project execution.
• Project Oversight: Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and efficient completion without compromising quality.
• Team Leadership: Guide, mentor, and train our survey staff, empowering them to excel in their assignments and fostering a collaborative environment.
• Data Compilation and Research: Gather and analyze existing data to enhance project efficiency and effectiveness.
• Field Survey Coordination: Plan and oversee field surveying activities for assigned projects, ensuring timely execution and adherence to standards.
• Document Analysis: Review deeds, title reports, and other relevant materials to produce precise survey maps and reports.
• Create Detailed Documentation: Write and review descriptions and sketches that accurately represent project details.

What You Bring:

• Experience: 5+ years of survey experience.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Geomatics or related field.
• Licensing: Florida Surveyor in Training license or the ability to obtain it within 3 months.
• Technical Skills: Experience with Trimble Business Center, ArcGIS, Pix4D, and Carlson are preferred.
