Job Description: As  Systems Administrator , you will work closely with our experienced IT team to provide technical support and assistance in managing our information systems. A successful candidate will have tenured knowledge of Microsoft Windows environments, Cisco Networking, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, TCP-IP, Server/PC hardware, backups, user and group management, VPN access and network/information security. This is not a remote position.

Required   Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide advanced support of all desktop and network hardware and company software applications. Provide proactive and advanced troubleshooting.
• User Account Management: Administer user accounts, permissions, and access rights within the User Admin Portal and Entra/AD; and developing/ensuring compliance with security policies and standards.
• Responsible for imaging, setup of new workstations including Cisco IP phones, network printers, Point-of-Sale hardware and other applicable technology.
• Maintain, acquire, upgrade and repair all system hardware and software (i.e. system “cycling”, installation and initial testing of all system patches, updates, and “fixes”, etc.) as assigned.
• Maintain and support core software applications, Microsoft Office 365 Suite, Adobe,
• Work collaboratively with senior team members to learn and implement best practices in service desk and systems administration.
• Contribute to documentation efforts
• Configuration and support of server functions including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, WSUS
• Support and understanding of VMware virtualization technologies
• Procurement and Contract Management as assigned

Education, Experience and Skills

• 7+ years of proven IT experience
• Technical certifications a plus: A+, Network+, Security+, Cisco (CCIE, CCNA)
• Strong customer service and communicating effectively
• Proven working knowledge, configuration and troubleshooting for Cisco networking
• Practical working experience with Microsoft 365 & Microsoft Azure Cloud Networking
• Virtualization (VMware 7) and storage technologies
• Basic Network Cabling Standards
• Effective communication skills, including speaking, writing and active listening
• Occasional lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds
• Periodic local travel
• Requires "on-call" hours in evenings and on weekends, when network issues may arise

Required:

· 7 Years Experience

· Network+ or Cisco Certification

· Local to Akron

· Drivers License
