Talent Acquisition Associate

BMH is one of the fastest growing companies in the material handling space, having grown 732% year-over-year for the last several years. The company’s product lines span pallet rack, shelving, conveyors, mezzanines and forklifts and enable manufacturers, distributors and logistics providers to get what they need where they need it in the most efficient manner possible.

The BMH Talent Acquisition team is seeking a recruiter to help meet our increased hiring demands. The position will be responsible for full-life cycle recruiting and work closely with hiring managers as a talent advisor to understand hiring needs and build a targeted sourcing plan. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a growing team. This position will be based at our US Corporate HQ in Southfield, MI and the expectation is to be onsite most of the time with the possibility of hybrid based on business needs.

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Provide full-life cycle recruiting for exempt and non-exempt positions to include screening, qualifying, interviewing and managing candidate relationships
  • Accurately assess candidates for competency and skill fit, quickly synthesize candidate and hiring manager feedback and routinely pre-close candidates to ensure high acceptance rates
  • Create a sourcing plan to develop a candidate pipeline for key roles and skills in advance of need
  • Collaborate with others throughout the organization to ensure a smooth process to efficiently and effectively fill openings with qualified and diverse candidates
  • Provide applicants with critical information about the company, including benefits and expectations
  • Understand and use multiple sourcing platforms such as Indeed, LinkedIn, and ATS

Basic Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years related recruiting or staffing experience in a corporate or agency environment
  • Experience using an applicant tracking system
  • Proven experience using multiple sourcing channels to identify and source talent

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of Talent Acquisition processes, procedures, and candidate management
  • Experience with ADP
