Fusion Ave Inc. (Helmedach & Young) is a reputable and well-established tax firm based in Catskill, New York. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Tax Preparer to join our team for the upcoming tax season.
Job Responsibilities
- Prepare and file individual and small business tax returns (C-Corp and S-Corp).
- Assist clients with tax-related inquiries and ensure compliance.
- Represent clients before the IRS when required (audits, appeals, etc.).
- Develop strategies to minimize client tax liabilities.
- Maintain clear communication and professional support for clients.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of US Federal and State tax laws.
- Proficiency in taxation and accounting software.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work extended hours during tax season.
Compensation
- $22.00 – $27.00 per hour (based on experience).
Work Schedule
- Seasonal Period: January 15, 2026 – April 15, 2026
- Hours: Monday to Saturday, 8:30 AM – 6:30 PM (up to 70 hours per week).
- Note: No weekends off during this period.
