Fusion Ave Inc. (Helmedach & Young) is a reputable and well-established tax firm based in Catskill, New York. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Tax Preparer to join our team for the upcoming tax season.

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare and file individual and small business tax returns (C-Corp and S-Corp).
• Assist clients with tax-related inquiries and ensure compliance.
• Represent clients before the IRS when required (audits, appeals, etc.).
• Develop strategies to minimize client tax liabilities.
• Maintain clear communication and professional support for clients.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of US Federal and State tax laws.
• Proficiency in taxation and accounting software.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work extended hours during tax season.

Compensation

• $22.00 – $27.00 per hour (based on experience).

Work Schedule

• Seasonal Period: January 15, 2026 – April 15, 2026
• Hours: Monday to Saturday, 8:30 AM – 6:30 PM (up to 70 hours per week).
• Note: No weekends off during this period.
