At Belamour Care, Lead Caregivers serve as the primary staff members responsible for managing daily operations within the home. They are highly qualified CNAs who assume ownership of the home's activities and residents’ care plans. Typically serving as the senior caregiver on duty, Lead Caregivers oversee medication management and support team members in delivering high-quality care to residents. They are dedicated professionals committed to ensuring that all tasks are completed effectively and that residents receive compassionate, comprehensive care.Key Responsibilities
Patient Care: Provide direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, feeding, and assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs). Vital Signs Monitoring: Regularly monitor and document vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and oxygen saturation, promptly reporting any abnormalities to nursing staff. Mobility Assistance: Support patients with mobility challenges by assisting with transfers and positioning to prevent pressure ulcers and promote comfort. Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including documented care provided, changes in condition, and any incidents. Companionship: Provide emotional support and engage in meaningful interactions with residents to enhance their quality of life. Safety: Create a safe environment for patients by identifying and addressing potential hazards and responding promptly to emergencies. Communication: Communicate effectively with the healthcare team, patients, and their families, providing updates on patient progress and reporting any concerns. Hygiene & Sanitation: Ensure a clean and hygienic environment for patients, including assistance with toileting, changing linens, and keeping patient areas organized.
