We hire fun, friendly people and are currently looking to fill a Technical Perfumer position. This individual will have the opportunity to develop fragrances for global markets with a strong focus on home, air, and personal care categories. Grace Management will be looking for you to enhance existing product lines and launch new product initiatives.
We are seeking an individual that has excellent olfactory skills with demonstrated interpersonal and organizational abilities. This candidate should have a passion for creating globally compliant and innovative fragrances. Job requirements and responsibilities will include:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Formulate fragrances to meet internal and external customer project requirements.
· Conduct stability testing, performance evaluations, and compatibility testing.
· Ensure formulation safety and compliance with global regulations.
· Evaluate raw material suppliers, pricing, restrictions, and trends.
· Provide olfactory quality assurance and troubleshooting to support manufacturing.
· Develop trainee & associate perfumers.
The Ideal Candidate Will Also Possess the Following Skills:
· Fluent in English
· Excellent formula record keeping and project management. Familiarity with formulation software is a plus.
· Expertise in a variety of end-use applications: e.g. candles, reed diffusers, laundry, scented sachets, aerosols, soaps, lotions, perfumes, cleaning products, hand sanitizers, shampoo, dish detergents, etc.
· Exceptional olfactory skills and knowledge of fragrance development, technical applications, quality, and manufacturing of fragrances
Education and/or Experience:
· Experience Level: 2-5 years of experience in technical perfumery.
· Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Biology, Cosmetic Science, Fragrance Technology or related field.
