Job Title: Sr Technical Writer

Location: Remote (Las Vegas preferred)

Duration: 6 months

Role Specific Responsibilities Include:

The primary responsibility of the Sr Technical Writer – Gaming is to create comprehensive and easy-to-understand internal and technical documentation for our online live casino games. This position is a foundational part of a rapidly growing team, and plays a key role in the end-to-end product development process.

All duties are to be performed in accordance with Company and departmental policies, practices, and procedures. All Contractors are expected to conduct and carry themselves in a professional manner at all times. Contractors are required to observe the Company’s standards, work requirements and rules of conduct

Required Qualifications:

• Collaborate with product designers, artists, producers, and engineers as well as business stakeholders

• Synthesize complex instructional, guideline, and technical material into structured, readable, and user-friendly documentation

• Compose, edit and curate documentation such as game design and feature documents, game rules, information architecture, and user onboarding and gameplay instructions for our products

• Collaborate with other stakeholders and subject matter experts to ensure maximum content applicability

• Work on all phases of documentation, and ensure documents are properly added to the correct repositories, manuals, special reports, or any other deliverables and documents

• Maintain a current internal documentation library

• Contribute to, cultivate and evolve a design system

• Contribute to project and team meetings, and present work and points of view often

• Participate in recruitment and candidate assessment for the design and development teams

• Mentor other team members about suggesting and balancing priorities, industry best practices, and other process knowledge.

• Perform job duties in a safe manner.

• Attend work as scheduled on a consistent and regular basis.

• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

• At least 21 years of age.

• Proof of authorization to work in the United States.

• Undergraduate or Post-Graduate degree in computer science, English or other communications-related subject; or equivalent experience

• Must be able to obtain and maintain and any certification or license, as required by law or policy.

• 5+ years of professional experience as a technical writer, producing documentation and procedural materials for software products to be utilized by both technical and non-technical audiences

• Experience writing and diagramming for information architecture documentation such as user flows and wireframes

• Experience working with design and engineering to improve user experience: design, UI, and help refine content and create visuals and diagrams for technical support content

• Experience using graphic design or page layout software

• Proven ability to quickly learn and understand complex topics ideal

• Experience with content management systems ideal

• Experience in diagramming tools such as Visio or LucidChart ideal

• Experience working in or producing documentation for the tech, gaming, or casino gaming industries ideal

• Jira Experience ideal

• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively and interact appropriately with management, other Team Members and outside contacts of different backgrounds and levels of experience.
