Job Description

***Only candidates located near the Boston, MA area are to be considered due to the position requiring an onsite presence***

Required Education/Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering, or a related field required

Required Qualifications:

• 5-8+ years of UX Design: Provide streamlined experiences for users on an internal platform critical to their job. Understand investment analyst workflows and propose an extendable platform to support their work

• Front-End Web Application Experience: Proficient in Angular, React, etc

• Component Design and Implementation: Design and implement reusable and modular components using Angular

• API Integration: Collaborate with backend engineers to design and integrate APIs

Required Technical Skills:

• Code Reviews: Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices

• Testing: Write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to ensure the quality and reliability of the front-end codebase

• RESTful APIs: Familiarity with RESTful APIs and integrating with backend services

• Build Tools and Package Managers: Knowledge of front-end build tools and package managers

• Version Control Systems: Experience with version control systems (GIT)

Preferred Technical Skills:

• Experience with Java frameworks and CICB processes

Responsibilities:

• Support and maintain existing applications and Streamlit

• Deliver incremental enhancements in Streamlit

• Evaluate and propose future state stacks based on user needs and constraints

• Lead the team in design thinking with respect to user experience design
