The Valet Attendant is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service by safely and efficiently, driving, parking and retrieving vehicles.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet residents or guests upon arrival and departure, opening and closing car doors
  • Assist residents with carrying belongings to and from their cars and provide directions and other helpful information about the community and surrounding area.
  • Park and retrieve residents’ personal cars from designated community parking upon resident or associate request in a safe and timely manner
  • Maintain a neat and orderly valet stand at all times
  • Manage valet parking spaces efficiently and safely to protect resident cars and community property
  • Manage and secure resident car key storage system according to community guidelines
  • Safely operate all resident and community vehicles in parking and driving into community entrance
  • Monitor and maintain cleanliness, safety and security of resident parking areas
  • Assist the concierge team and other team members with tasks as assigned
  • Monitor residents’ well-being in a general way and report any changes in the condition of a resident to supervisor immediately
  • Complete the necessary end of shift documentation and transfer of keys and tickets in accordance with the community process
  • Look for opportunities to exceed resident expectations and enhance resident satisfaction
  • Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which includes wearing the proper uniform and name tag when working
  • Comply with Oakmont Management Group standards, regulations and Florida driving laws to encourage safe and efficient community operations
  • Perform other duties and tasks as assigned or required

Qualifications:

  • Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
  • Demonstrate ability to build and maintain positive working relationships at all levels across the Company.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; highly motivated and able to work independently or collaboratively depending upon circumstances.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Must pass a Criminal Background check.
  • May require team members to vaccinate, participate in daily screening, surveillance testing, and to wear face coverings and other personal protective equipment (PPE) to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 or other communicable diseases, per regulatory guidelines.
