This position's primary focus is unloading and loading merchandise shipments from trucks to stock and organize the products in the correct places within the warehouse. They will be responsible for inventory, order picking, order packing, order checking, shipping/receiving, stocking and maintenance/organization functions in the warehouse as directed by Management. Their secondary focus would be that of a backup driver when the primary driver is out of the office. This will require timely and safely delivery of our products from DOW's distribution center to our valued customers.
Job Duties:
Warehouse Duties:
· Perform general stocking duties on a daily basis including storing and stocking products in/on bins, pallets, shelves, racks.
· Responsible for accurate weekly physical inventory counts.
· Maintain precise inventory of all product lines on a daily basis.
· Accurate order pulling and checking, and thorough stocking and organization.
· Load and unload shipments from all delivery vehicles and common carriers.
· Process freight and ground shipments accurately.
· Verify accuracy of warehouse deliveries.
· Sort, stack, and rotate inventory weekly (FIFO).
· Accurately pull and fill customer orders.
· Accurately check pulled orders.
· Create and update documents using Microsoft Office products.
· Maintain cleanliness and organization of facility.
Driving Duties: Includes duty differential in pay
· Safely operate a 14'-16' box truck to deliver DOW's products to residential and commercial locations.
· Adhere to all transportation laws and company policies while driving.
· Adhering to assigned routes and following time schedules.
· Communicate with customers pre-delivery with your estimated time of arrival of their order.
· Assisting with loading, transporting, and unloading large and heavy items from truck using additional equipment, such as forklifts, hand trucks and dollies, as needed.
· Reviewing orders before and after delivery to ensure that orders are complete.
· Ensure all deliveries are completed in a timely and professional manner.
· Maintain accurate delivery records, including pictures and obtain customer signatures as required.
· Establish and maintain outstanding relationships with customers.
· Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
· Provide excellent customer service by addressing any delivery-related inquiries or issues.

Required Qualifications: To be qualified for this position, you must:
· Possess a valid driver's license.
· Clean driving record.
· Ability to pass a drug test and maintain a clean criminal background.
· Abide by all company and department policies and procedures.
· Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
· Punctuality, good attendance, and excellent time management skills are required.
· Must be detail oriented and will need to be able to work in a Team/Group environment, as well as independently without constant supervision.
· Ability to read and understand simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos in English.
· Ability to be detailed, accurate, and thorough while working in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
§ Prior experience with Driving through multi states using a box truck.
§ Prior experience operating a forklift is desired; must be able to pass forklift certification and operate forklift in warehouse locations utilizing a forklift.
§ Minimum of one year experience supporting inventory or warehouse operations.
§ Demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Physical Requirements:
§ Able to grasp, sit, stoop, kneel, bend at the waist, and reach on a daily basis.
§ Ability to safely lift and carry up to 100 pounds and push/pull heavy loads up to 500 pounds using equipment in a physical environment.
§ Ability to sit and drive safely for up to 8-12 hours a day or as workload permits.
§ Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.
