- *Job Description**
As a Warehouse Manager on our team, youll be helping to keep our distribution center operating smoothly. From training to problem-solving to maintaining equipment, your work will help save lives. The Warehouse Manager is responsible for the operational activities of various functional departments within the distribution center on the night shift.
- *Duties Include:**
- Plans, organizes, and directs warehouse and selected office functions to ensure order fulfillment with 100% customer satisfaction.
- Development of supervisors, leads, and warehouse employees
- Maintain positive morale, work standards, and developing teams
- Trains and manages the performance of supervisors and other direct reports.
- Assertively seeks solutions at the root level of problems.
- Builds teamwork among the DC management team, sales team, and employees.
- Ensures warehouse operations comply with federal, state, local, and company policies.
- Controls expenses
- Ensures warehouse and equipment are well maintained and that housekeeping meets company and FDA standards.
- Assist team with planning, organizing, and directing warehouse activities to ensure successful day shift operations.
- Effectively lead workers and Lead persons.
- Reducing employee turnover/overtime working hours
- The focal point for all of the DCs hiring
- *Minimum Requirements**
- 5+ years of operational experience, including 2+ years supervisory experience
- *Critical Requirements:**
- Excellent organizational skills; Follow up and follow-through
- Experience managing, leading, and developing supervisors; this is a hands-on manager role
- Management skills coaching and development of supervisors and leads
- Demonstrated employee engagement skills
- Strong communications skills open, honest verbal and written communications; ability to communicate and collaborate effectively at all levels and across all functional areas
- **Must be open to flexible night hours Sunday through Thursday; 3pm start time typically**. must also be open to overtime or weekends as needed and adjusting shift based on business requirements
- *Additional Knowledge and Skills Required**
- Computer proficiency in MS Office
- In-depth knowledge of Operations Management
- Adept at strategic thinking and strategic business planning
- Warehouse management systems experience
- Project Management experience
- Adept at interpreting and analyzing data
- Extensive experience in operations, distribution, or supply chain management
- Six Sigma training or experience
- *Education**
- 4-year degree or equivalent professional experience
- *Physical Requirements**
- High energy distribution center environment
- May be required to work various shifts, including nights and days
- Some overtime and weekends required
- *Schedule**
- Sunday - Thursday 3pm - 12am with a need to be flexible - occasional weekend work required, or occasional day schedule to backfill
- (Day shift is Mon - Fri)
- *Salary**
- 75-80K, with night differential
- *Career Level: M2**
