Web Strategist

Falmouth, Maine

Blaze is seeking a Web Strategist , to be based in their Falmouth, Maine office. The Web Strategist will play a dual role in project management and digital strategy, ensuring our web projects align with business goals and deliver measurable results. This person will be responsible for overseeing web development projects, optimizing workflows, and developing strategies that improve website performance and user experience. This is an in office position.

Requirements of the Web Strategist:

• 5+ years of experience in web strategy, project management, or digital marketing.
• Strong knowledge of web development processes, UX/UI best practices, and conversion optimization.
• Experience with website platforms such as WordPress, Shopify, Contentful, and/or custom CMS solutions.
• Familiarity with SEO, analytics tools (Google Analytics, Hotjar), and digital marketing strategies.
• Strong project management skills.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams, including designers, developers, and marketers.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
• Must be able to work in person in the Falmouth, ME office.

Benefits of the Job:

• Annual pay in the range $80,000 - $85,000

Responsibilities of the Web Strategist:

• Act as a trusted consultant for clients, advising them on best practices for website performance and growth.
• Work with clients to identify their web needs and translate them into actionable strategies.
• Lead client presentations and reports on website performance, providing insights and actionable recommendations.
• Oversee multiple web projects from inception to completion, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery.
• Manage communication between internal and external stakeholders: clients, internal staff (account, design, copy), internal and external developers.
• Define project scopes, set expectations, and maintain clear project timelines.
• Implement best practices for workflow optimization, quality assurance, and post-launch support.
• Develop digital strategies that enhance user experience, drive conversions, and improve SEO.
• Conduct website audits and provide recommendations for performance, content, and conversion improvements.
• Stay ahead of web and digital marketing trends to ensure our agency remains competitive.
