Overview

We are seeking a skilled Wire EDM Operator to join our team in St. Charles, MO, 63304. In this role, you will play a crucial part in our manufacturing process, utilizing your expertise in Wire Electrical Discharge Machining to produce high-quality components. Responsibilities

• Set up and operate Wire EDM machines to produce intricate parts according to specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD files.
• Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as necessary to ensure optimal performance.
• Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure longevity and reliability.
• Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy, making necessary adjustments to meet standards.
• Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and improve production processes.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in machining preferred.
• Proven experience operating Wire EDM machines in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of machining processes and quality control standards.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Familiarity with CAD software is a plus.

• CNC Tooling
• CNC Programming

Machines & technologies you'll use:

• CNC Mill (3-4 axis VMC) (Fanuc, Mazak, Haas, Dmg Mori Seiki, Okuma)
• EDM Machine (Wire) (Fanuc, Mitsubishi, Makino)
• CNC Lathe (2-4 axis) (Mazak, Haas, Okuma, Dmg Mori Seiki)
