Role Overview

We are looking for a highly motivated and independent new graduate from a top university to join our team as an AI Research Associate. In this role, you will conduct research on AI market trends, evaluate product opportunities, perform investment due diligence, and contribute to various aspects of AI-related projects. You will also manage relationships with AI founders, source deals, assist with AI product development, and help organize AI events. You will work closely with a diverse, cross-border team. Previous experience with AI is a plus, but strong analytical skills, high agency, and the ability to work independently are critical for success in this role.

Location: Remote (Silicon Valley preferred, or willing to travel)

Key Responsibilities

1. Conduct in-depth research on AI technologies, products, and market opportunities
2. Evaluate and perform due diligence on investment opportunities
3. Deal sourcing for AI projects and startups
4. Manage relationships with AI founders and key stakeholders
5. Contribute to AI product development and strategic planning
6. Assist with the planning and execution of AI-related events
7. Analyze reports and summarize key findings for team discussion
8. Work closely with a multi-cultural, cross-border team to identify strategic insights
9. Stay updated on the latest AI trends and innovations
10. Contribute to internal discussions and strategic decisions

Qualifications

1. Recent graduate from a top university (preferably in AI, Engineering, or a related field)
2. Strong research and analytical skills
3. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
4. Comfortable working in a multi-cultural, cross-border team
5. Familiarity with AI technologies and market trends (preferred)
6. Proficiency in English (for Chinese candidates, English proficiency is required)
7. Ability to travel to Silicon Valley if based remotely
8. High agency and a proactive mindset
9. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
