Clinical Education Content Developer

Location: Remote

Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and clinically experienced Clinical Education Content Developer to join our team. This role is responsible for the creation and development of clinical educational materials tailored to the needs of healthcare professionals. The ideal candidate is an Advanced Practice Clinician (NP, PA, or equivalent) with a strong foundation in clinical practice, content creation, and the design of effective clinical education. This individual will collaborate with clinical subject matter experts, clinical leadership, and business stakeholders to develop engaging and effective clinical content.

Key Responsibilities:

 Design, develop, and update clinically accurate, evidence-based educational content for internal and external audiences.

 Edit and refine clinical content provided by subject matter experts (SMEs) to ensure clarity, consistency, and alignment with clinical and accreditation standards.

 Translate complex clinical information into accessible, digestible content aligned with adult learning principles.

 Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs), clinical Leaders, and the education team to ensure consistency and quality of content.

 Partner with service line leaders (e.g., Emergency Medicine and Hospital Medicine) to support the development of clinical content.

 Assist with the development and management of Continuing Medical Education (CME) content, including adhering to CME guidelines, accreditation standards,

and internal processes and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory bodies

 Ensure all content meets organizational standards, clinical guidelines, and accreditation requirements when applicable.

 Stay current with clinical guidelines, trends, and best practices in healthcare education.

 Review all educational content for clinical accuracy, proper referencing, and consistency with current clinical guidelines and standards of care.

 Verify sources and citations to ensure use of up-to-date, evidence-based references and eliminate outdated or unsupported claims.

 Screen content to ensure originality and adherence to copyright and anti-plagiarism standards, including proper attribution and permissions where applicable.

Qualifications Required:

 Licensed Advanced Practice Clinician (NP, PA, or equivalent) with active certification.

 Minimum of 3–5 years of clinical experience in a healthcare setting.

 Demonstrated experience in developing clinical content and education for

healthcare professionals.

 Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey complex

clinical topics clearly.

 Highly skilled in identifying, critically reviewing, summarizing, and incorporating healthcare literature content (e.g., data, guideline recommendations, images, audio, video) into new continuing education activities.

 Proficiency in MS Office Suite and familiarity with content authoring tools (e.g., Articulate, Rise, etc.).

 Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications/Nice to Have:

 Experience with Continuing Medical Education (CME) program development and understanding of CME compliance and accreditation processes.

 Knowledge of instructional design principles and adult learning theory.
