Title: Clinical Research Nurse I - Cardiology

Facility: Mease Countryside Hospital

Responsibilities:

• Coordinates and implements research studies for assigned services under the direction of the Principal investigator in accordance with the standards of good clinical practice, federal and state regulations and institutional review board (IRB) requirements
• Ensures adherence to the study protocol and schedule of events
• Patient visit scheduling for protocol related procedures
• Screening, study recruitment, preparation of IRB reports
• Establishment and maintenance of regulatory documents
• Performing the process of informed consent and HIPPA authorization
• Clinical follow-up of study subjects
• Creation and completion of source worksheets,
• Collecting source data for electronic data capture (EDC) systems or Case Report Form (CRF) completion
• Assesses patients for trial-related and non-trial related symptoms
• Reporting of adverse events, serious adverse events, and dispensing / accountability of investigational product
• Must work independently and use sound judgment while performing job duties
• Performs duties as assigned under the scope of related certification or licensure

Certification

• Required - RN (Registered Nurse)
• Preferred - CCRC (Clinical Research)

Education

• Required - Associates in Nursing
• Or - Diploma in Nursing
• Preferred - Bachelor's in Nursing

Experience

• Required - 2 years healthcare or management
• Preferred - Clinical Research experience
• Preferred - Internal Medicine/Cardiology RN experience

Location: Safety Harbor, FL

Status: Full Time, Exempt: Yes

Shift Hours: 8:00AM - 4:30PM

Weekend Work: None
