Greater DC Area - Hybrid (2 days in office)

THE ROLE - Data Scientist

In this role, you will utilize predictive and descriptive analytics, geospatial modeling, and commercial data insights to tackle complex challenges in the pharma sector. You'll collaborate closely with clients, internal teams, and product/R&D groups to generate insights that enhance decision-making, patient engagement, and commercial strategies.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Act as a strategic advisor to pharmaceutical clients, transforming business challenges into data-driven solutions.
  • Utilize predictive modeling, descriptive analytics, and geospatial techniques to assess healthcare market trends and customer behavior.
  • Work on commercial and medical initiatives, including clinical trials, revenue optimization, and patient journey mapping.
  • Contribute to business development efforts through consulting, data-driven storytelling, and strategic presentations.
  • Partner with data science associates and client engagement teams to develop impactful insights.
  • Collaborate with product and R&D teams to process and analyze pharmaceutical data.
  • Leverage modern data tools, cloud-based platforms, statistical modeling, and machine learning techniques.

YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field (Master's preferred).
  • Proficiency in SQL and Python is required.
  • Strong experience in data science with a focus on pharmaceutical analytics.
  • Previous client-facing experience in consulting or analytics within pharma, biotech, or healthcare.
  • Expertise in commercial pharma data, clinical trials, and patient behavior analysis.
  • Strong analytical problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data, recognize trends, and present compelling insights.
  • Experience with predictive analytics, geospatial analysis, and commercial pharma metrics.
  • Proficiency in statistical programming and cloud-based analytics tools.
  • A collaborative mindset and the ability to work with multidisciplinary teams, including data scientists, product managers, and R&D specialists.

BENEFITS - Data Scientist

As a Data Scientist, you can expect to earn up to $140,000 (depending on experience) plus a competitive benefits package.
