HR Generalist

Location: Cartersville, GA

Compensation: Salary up to $70k

Ferretti Search is proud to partner with a growing manufacturer to identify a hands-on and collaborative Human Resources Generalist to join their expanding team. This newly created role supports a high-growth production site and offers the opportunity to lead multiple HR functions, including employee relations, benefits administration, talent acquisition, onboarding, and payroll coordination. This is a great fit for someone who enjoys being on the floor, developing relationships across teams, and taking ownership of the day-to-day HR function in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day HR activities such as compensation, benefits, leave administration, and employee relations.
• Coordinate employee engagement initiatives and recognition programs to foster a positive culture.
• Track and maintain compliance with mandatory trainings, certifications, and ongoing development.
• Work closely with department managers on recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding qualified talent.
• Support payroll processing and month-end activities.
• Serve as a point of contact for employment-related inquiries from employees and management, escalating complex issues as needed.
• Assist with employee investigations, disciplinary meetings, and terminations.
• Stay up to date on employment laws and HR best practices to ensure compliance and recommend improvements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
• 5+ years of HR generalist experience, ideally in manufacturing.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
• Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and act with integrity.
• Payroll experience a plus but not required.
