Job Title: HR Operations Generalist

Location: Rosemont, IL

Industry: Healthcare

Pay: $25 - $28/hour (Contract) | $60,000 (Permanent)

Addison Group is hiring on behalf of our client, a healthcare organization. This role is a great opportunity for a detail-oriented HR professional with payroll and benefits experience.

Job Description:

  • Respond to employee and business inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Manage and troubleshoot HRIS issues to support employee self-service and HR operations.
  • Communicate HR policies and compliance guidelines clearly to employees and leadership.
  • Conduct regular audits to maintain data accuracy and ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
  • Process employee lifecycle transactions, including hires, terminations, onboarding, and internal transfers.
  • Lead new hire orientation and assisting with background check processes.
  • Manage biweekly payroll processing with accuracy and adherence to all federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Oversee training compliance, licensure tracking, and HR policy enforcement.
  • Provide guidance on employment laws and HR best practices to employees and management.
  • Administer employee benefits programs, including health, dental, vision, and retirement plans.
  • Assist employees with benefits enrollment, inquiries, and qualifying life events.
  • Ensure compliance with ACA, COBRA, FMLA, and other benefits-related regulations.
  • Coordinate annual benefits open enrollment and communicating plan updates effectively.
  • Partner with leadership to foster a positive and engaging workplace culture.
  • Analyze employee feedback and recommending improvements to enhance the overall employee experience.
  • Participate in HR projects and process improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of HR operations experience, including payroll processing.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems (Paylocity preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
