IR Tech
As we are a procedural area the work is not always complete at the end of their scheduled shift. The expectation is once a week the agency technologist may be designated to stay past the end of the shift if we have procedures to be completed. We refer to this as “Backup.” We also have the expectation of agency technologists working every 5th or 6th Saturday 0800-1600 as needed.

On Call Requirement - Call expectation NIR Technologist – Call is 1600-0730 during the week and this position would be scheduled for a weeknight of call every 1. Weekend call is Friday 1600 through Monday 0730 and this RN would be assigned weeknight call 3-4 times in a 13-week assignment.

Pending State License accepted: Yes
Special Requirements: Interventional Radiology performs an array of procedures ranging from central venous catheter placements/replacements, diagnostic angiograms, Y-90 mappings/treatments, Gastrostomy tubes, Perc Nephrostomy tubes, Peripheral artery disease leg cases and other vascular related procedures.
BLS, ARRT (R) required- ARRT VI preferred.
C-Arm and Contrast experience required
