Job Description

Avionics Technician, Vehicle Integration.

Initial Contract Length: 6 - 12 Months with extension highly likely (Potential for direct hire)

Contract Type: W2 – Inclusive of employment benefits

Full-time contracted Hours: 8 Hours per day, 5 days per week + Optional Overtime

We are searching for multiple highly motivated Manufacturing Technicians with any amount of avionics skills to join our clients Manufacturing facility. These positions are critical to our clients manufacturing and assembly operations, supporting various aspects of avionics integration, harness building, and subcomponent programming.

The ideal candidate will have a basic understanding of electronics, with a desire to learn and grow within a fast-paced supportive environment.

In this role you will be a member of a rapidly growing company at the forefront of Aerospace & Defense innovation. You will work on exciting and diverse projects in both prototyping and mass production phases while benefiting from extensive on-the-job training and mentorship from industry leading Avionics technicians.

Responsibilities:

Vehicle Level Integration Technician: Installing avionic components and harnesses into vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform initial tests to ensure functionality and quality of work.
  • Work collaboratively with senior technicians, learning and applying new skills through extensive on-the-job training.
  • Contribute to the prototyping and mass production of various advanced avionic products.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.

Qualifications:

  • Must be a USA Citizen or Green Card holder.
  • Minimum 6 months of experience in a relevant technical manufacturing role (e.g., automotive, drone harnessing, electrical assembly, general assembly).
  • Hold a basic understanding of electronics and assembly principles.
  • Experience with subcomponent assembly (e.g., basic backgrounds from manufacturing environments) is a plus.
  • Experience with harness building or electrical assembly is highly desirable.
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new tasks and products.

Interview Process:

  • Onsite skills/knowledge test (approximately 1 hour). In some cases, a second test may be required.
  • Test results do not need 100% accuracy – You just need to demonstrate basic understanding of avionics & manufacturing principles.
  • Candidates will also receive a tour of the facility during the interview process.

Working Hours:

  • Monday to Friday 8am – 6am (5 Days per week)
  • Occasional Saturday overtime opportunities.
