Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Laboratory Technician to support daily laboratory operations and ensure the accuracy and integrity of test results. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing samples, operating lab equipment, maintaining records, and assisting scientists and researchers in conducting experiments and analyses. This role requires a strong understanding of laboratory protocols, excellent organizational skills, and a commitment to safety and precision.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare, collect, and label samples for testing and analysis.
  • Perform routine laboratory tests in accordance with standard operating procedures.
  • Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory equipment and instruments.
  • Record and analyze data accurately, ensuring proper documentation and reporting.
  • Maintain a clean and organized laboratory environment in compliance with safety and quality regulations.
  • Assist with inventory management, including ordering and stocking lab supplies.
  • Support research and development activities as directed by senior staff or scientists.
  • Adhere to all laboratory safety protocols and company policies.

Required Qualifications

  • Associate degree or Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Chemistry, Laboratory Science, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with common laboratory equipment and procedures.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow protocols precisely.
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certification as a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) or equivalent is a plus.
  • Experience in quality control or compliance-focused environments.
  • Knowledge of laboratory information systems (LIS) and data entry software.
  • Familiarity with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and/or ISO standards.
