Steimle Birschbach is a premier law firm with an excellent reputation with offices in Manitowoc and Sheboygan, Wisconsin, Our team fosters a collegial atmosphere where collaboration, professional growth, and client success are at the heart of everything we do. We are seeking an ambitious and detail-oriented Paralegal or Legal Secretary to join our Business and Real Estate Team.

About the Role:

In this position, you will play a crucial role in supporting attorneys with a wide range of business and real estate matters. This position requires a proactive and organized individual who is committed to delivering exceptional service to both our clients and legal team.

Schedule:

  • Monday to Thursday (8 am to 5 pm)
  • Friday (8 am to 12 pm)

Location:

· Primary Location: Sheboygan Office

· Occasional training and services at our Manitowoc Office

Responsibilities:

· Draft documents related to the purchase and sale of companies and real estate, and other business related transactions

· Coordinate closings, prepare and monitor closing checklists, and track post-closing obligations

· Assist with business entity formations, corporate governance, and compliance filings

· Assist attorneys by conducting and managing due diligence

· Communicate with clients, lenders, and other stakeholders to facilitate transactions

· Maintain and organize transaction files and legal documents

Qualifications:

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Paralegal Studies or Paralegal Certification preferred - but not required
  • Experience in a law firm or legal office setting, or other confidential office setting - preferred but not required
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Proficiency in legal software and Microsoft Office Suite
