A top-tier Heavy Civil and Water/Wastewater contractor is seeking a Mechanical Superintendent to join their powerhouse team in Phoenix, AZ.

Our client is a recognized industry leader , known for delivering some of the most complex and high-value infrastructure projects across the Southwest. With a strong reputation for excellence and innovation, they are looking for a Mechanical Superintendent to take the lead on $100M+ Water and Wastewater Treatment Plant projects throughout the Phoenix metro area.

Position Overview:

• Lead the mechanical scope on large-scale Water/Wastewater Treatment Plant (W/WWTP) projects
• Oversee field crews, equipment installation, piping systems, and subcontractor performance
• Drive the schedule, ensure site safety, and maintain top-tier quality standards
• Work closely with project management and engineering teams to solve challenges and keep the job moving forward
• Be a trusted leader on-site — someone who leads by example and delivers results

What the Ideal Candidate Brings:

• 5+ years of supervisory experience in mechanical systems on heavy civil or W/WWTP projects
• In-depth knowledge of treatment plant mechanical systems: pumps, valves, piping, equipment
• Strong leadership skills with a focus on productivity, quality, and safety
• Experience managing large teams and coordinating subcontractors
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus, but not required
