Job Title : NICU Nurse Practitioner (NP)

Location : Corpus Christi, TX

Contract Type : Per Diem (Six 24-hour shifts per month)

Start Date : Immediate

About the Position :

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our team in a Level 3 NICU. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in NICU care and the ability to work flexibly with a collaborative team to provide high-quality care to neonates. This is a per diem position with a flexible schedule , offering six 24-hour shifts per month. You’ll be rounding in the NICU, with the responsibility to manage a dynamic and varying patient census, which can range from 5 to 20 babies.

Key Responsibilities :

• Round in the NICU and provide direct care to neonates
• Work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare providers
• No responsibility for attending c-sections, preemie deliveries, or nursery rounds (these are covered by physicians)
• Participate in daily rounds and provide clinical oversight in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment

Required Qualifications :

• 1+ years of NICU experience
• Proficiency in intubations , catheterizations , and other critical care procedures
• Current NRP certification
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Flexibility in scheduling and adaptability to an unpredictable census
