An employer is looking for a Communications Network Engineer to join the team in San Diego, CA. The duties will include evaluating communication hardware and software, as well as troubleshooting Local Area Networks/Base Area Networks/Wide Area Networks (LAN/BAN/WAN), and other network-related problems. Additional duties include administering LAN/BAN/WANs, scheduling conversions and cutovers, and coordinating with all responsible users and sites. Specialized experience in the performance and configuration of networks as well as the integration and test of complex large-scale computer integrated networks.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Active DoD Security Clearance
- Active CCNA Certification and CompTIA Sec+ CE
- Team player attitude and flexible
- 5+ Years with WAN/LAN/BAN administration support
- 5+ years integrating networks in a large-scale environment
- Experience implementing new network solutions and improving the efficiency of current network solutions.
