Job Description

Experience:

• CCNP & ACMP – Routing & Switching/Wireless, or CCIE or Aruba certificate is mandatory.
• 12+ years of experience in a technical network engineering role, 7+ Years into Aruba platform is mandatory .
• Specialized in supporting different makes of network devices Cisco, Aruba, HP etc
• Design, configure, and implement Aruba switching solutions for customers, ensuring efficient and secure network infrastructure.
• Deploy and configure Aruba 2500/5400/6300/8400 series switches , ensuring optimal network performance and reliability.
• Perform network assessments, ensuring that the Aruba switching solutions meet organizational requirements for scalability, performance, and security.
• Work with other teams to integrate Aruba switches with other network components such as routers, wireless access points, and firewalls.
• Design and implement EVPN-based network solutions using Aruba hardware and software to enable scalable, efficient, and secure Layer 2/Layer 3 VPN services.
• Architect and configure Aruba switches (e.g., 8400, 8320) and routers to support EVPN , ensuring the infrastructure can scale to meet future business needs.
• Integrate Aruba EVPN solutions with existing network architectures, supporting hybrid cloud and multi-cloud environments, and ensuring smooth interconnectivity between on-premises and cloud resources.
• Create and design Virtual Routing and Forwarding (VRF) instances, VXLAN (Virtual Extensible LAN) , and other advanced EVPN features to deliver robust and isolated networking environments.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Plan and execute in depth technical activity, influencing the direction of activities/plans and providing technical insight and guidance to others
• Investigate and help resolve issues on customer’s network and IT estates using agreed troubleshooting methodologies
• Hands on experience on network monitoring tools like Service Now is desirable
• Ensuring accurate recording of all cases using the Company’s ticket management tool and closing within agreed timeframes
• Using the central document repository, to ensure knowledge sharing across the team and enable best practice
• Supporting and taking ownership of ad-hoc projects to develop the capabilities of the Ideal Service Centre
• Supporting wider team with knowledge share, via knowledge base communications (emails, how-to guides etc.) and contribution at team meetings
• Handling P1 bridges
• Advanced troubleshooting for escalated issues or Major incidents
• Complex Change Management
• Recommendation on architecture and best practices
• Knowledge of Network security appliances, traffic flow and application connectivity
• Advance troubleshooting including packet capture and log analysis

Compensation and Benefits

A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies.
