Prismecs is seeking an experienced Control Room Operator (CRO) to support day-to-day power plant operations from the Central Control Room. The CRO is responsible for safe, compliant, and efficient operation of all GTs, BOP systems, and plant equipment in accordance with OEM manuals, internal procedures, and regulatory requirements. This role reports to the Team Leader and works closely with the Shift Supervisor and HSE team to maintain operational integrity, safety, and availability.
The ideal candidate has strong SCADA/Control Systems experience, proven TM2500+ Generation 8 exposure, and a disciplined approach to monitoring, reporting, and troubleshooting plant systems.
• Operate plant facilities and equipment following OEM manuals, established procedures, and Shift Supervisor instructions.
• Monitor GTs, BOP systems, and SCADA screens; respond immediately to alarms, abnormalities, and operational issues.
• Monitor CCTV for plant security observations and escalate concerns promptly.
• Execute preventive routine inspections and complete checklists as required.
• Operate SCADA, Protection, and Control Systems in full compliance with operational procedures and Power Agreement requirements.
• Perform fuel truck offloading in accordance with applicable procedures, standards, and policies.
• Support general facilities maintenance and operational tasks assigned by the Shift Supervisor.
• Communicate incidents, accidents, injuries, environmental violations, equipment failures, and operational challenges immediately.
• Collaborate with HSE and follow all directions regarding safety, compliance, and environmental protection.
• Maintain CCR housekeeping—ensure a clean, organized environment and proper shift handover.
• Use tools and auxiliary equipment properly and responsibly.
• Support energy conservation guidelines and environmental regulations.
• Assist in continuous improvement initiatives related to operational quality, productivity, and reliability.
• Provide training to junior personnel when requested.

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).
• Minimum 3 years of experience in similar power plant operations.
• Minimum 3 years of proven hands-on experience with TM2500+ Generation 8 gas turbines .
• Proficiency in English (reading, writing, and speaking).
• Strong reporting skills and familiarity with operational documentation.
• Ability to work rotating shifts (day/night).
• Proficient in Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office.
• General HSE knowledge.
• Understanding of ISO 9001, ISO 14000, and OHSAS 18001 is an advantage.
