Job Title: Production Operator
Location:  Savannah, GA

Pay Rate: $20.00
Work Schedule: 6 am - 2:30 pm

Full Job Description:
The Production Operator is responsible for performing coating operations, assembly of product and providing associated support.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Efficiently perform production operations according to work instructions (Standard Operating Procedures- SOP)
• Perform in-process monitoring and recording of product quality
• Report up deviations in product from established standards
• Follow safe work and good housekeeping practices and report any unsafe conditions and incidents
• Make recommendations for continuous improvement
• Use basic hand and power tools
• Take on any other duties which are within the employee’s skills and abilities whenever reasonably instructed
• Perform tasks in a chemical plant environment

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Basic computer skills, including data entry, are required
• 2 -3 years of experience working in an industrial setting
• Familiarity with 5S principles is essential
• Willingness to operate forklift (training will be provided)
