The overall responsibility of the Application Delivery Specialist is to craft and deliver technology-enabled solutions via projects that are well defined, well structured, and that adhere to best practices. This role is the primary “face” of a project. Successful candidates will conduct their work with high levels of professionalism, quality, diligence, adaptability. They will be passionate, committed, and a fast learner, while at the same time being adaptable, coachable, and open to new approaches to technology solution projects. This role will be assigned to multiple projects and will need to be adaptable to different types and sizes of projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Will guide projects from conception to completion delivering solutions via projects that are on time, on budget, and in scope
  • Create plan/strategies for projects including but not limited to detailed requirements, project process design, test cases and deployment plans.
  • Collaborates with technology architects and leads to ensure the technology design and business requirements remain in sync.
  • Track project budget and project plan.
  • Will continuously monitor projects for potential risks, keep all teams aligned and complete status reporting for executive stakeholders.
  • Manage/Coach project analyst and project managers on project teams.
  • Create project plans, socialize them with stakeholders, and keep them up-to-date and available on file share
  • Directly create appropriate framework artifacts in Enterprise Architect and Lucidcharts for managed projects
  • Write all functional requirements as user stories
  • Create test cases and record results with direct traceability to user stories
  • After first three months: Create framework Gate Deck presentations to standards with limited coaching
  • After first six months: Can teach introduction to framework approach to new hires

Technical Skills and Experience:

Required:

  • Minimum 10 years’ experience implementing enterprise systems, preferably ERP/Accounting
  • Create Operating Platform Model diagrams on whiteboard
  • Agile experience: Write Epics and Personas
  • Must have experience implementing ERP systems
  • Create detailed requirements, including acceptance criteria
  • Design business processes via activity diagrams
  • Write and execute test cases that tie to design requirements
  • Thoughtful practitioner of multiple methodologies and frameworks
  • Significant vendor management experience
  • Project Management experience, including MS Project or similar
  • Organize own work and that of team

Important:

  • Create a Business Domain Model
  • Create and manage testing plans
  • Capture bugs and enhancements requests
  • UML knowledge and modelling experience
  • Experience with information technology migrations and integrations
  • Experience in full life cycle of complex software deployment projects
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Powerpoint
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
  • Good practices for version control of artifacts

Desirable, but not required:

  • Collaborate with Technology Team to document some artifacts: Deployment Model and Sequence Diagram
  • Contribute to deployment plans
  • Experience with Yardi
  • Experience in strategic planning and execution
  • Sufficient Six Sigma knowledge
  • Experience with Jira or similar
